Mission Statement

Foothills Friends is a citizens watchdog group dedicated to preserving the rural character of the western foothills of Whatcom County.
We will work to ensure that future growth takes place in a manner that protects the environment, considers the well-being of all Foothills residents, local business owners, and visitors to our scenic recreation area, and reflects the needs of Foothills residents who will be living with the consequences of growth decisions in the years to come."
